Federal Government has urged youths to embrace automotive innovation as part of efforts to development the country.
The Special Assistant to the President on Youth Initiative (Monitoring and Delivery), Dr. Titilope Gbadamosi, at the Youth Empowerment through Automotive Innovation 2025 Conference held in Ibadan, said the push aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s renewed commitment to youth development, skills advancement, and transforming the country’s automotive industry.
She explained that the government is investing in mobility technology, clean energy transition, and digital innovation to prepare young Nigerians for the jobs of today and position them as future leaders in Africa’s automotive sector.
The Director General of National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Chief Joseph Osanipin said rapid innovation across automotive, technology, and Information and communication sectors makes it essential for young people to keep pace, emphasizing that the youths as the “engine of transformation” driving industrial growth across the country and the continent.
