Guinean Prime Minister Amadou Oury Bah has officially launched the country’s fourth General Population and Housing Census
The census, led by the National Institute of Statistics, will cover all households across Guinea and foreign nationals residing in the country. Over 23,000 trained officials have been deployed nationwide to gather crucial demographic and housing data.
Guinea’s Prime Minister urged citizens to cooperate with census officials and provide accurate information, noting the exercise’s importance in national planning, a strategic tool vital for national sovereignty and effective governance.
