NECO Releases 2025 BECE Results for Junior Secondary School Students Nationwide

National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), taken by final-year Junior Secondary School students across the country.
NECO spokesperson, Azeez Sani, stated a total of 179,201 candidates registered for the examination, across the country
The release of the results followed the successful conclusion of the BECE Award Committee meeting at NECO headquarters in Minna. Director of Basic Education at the Federal Ministry of Education and chairperson of the committee, Dr. (Mrs) Folake Olatunji David, expressed satisfaction with the integrity of the examination process.
Sani also announced that the BECE re-sit for candidates who need to retake English Studies and Mathematics has been scheduled for July 23 and 24.
