NYSC DIRECTOR GENERAL URGES CORPS MEMBERS TO UPHOLD CORE VALUES DURING SERVICE YEAR

The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has called on Corps Members to embrace the scheme’s core values of patriotism and commitment throughout their service year and beyond. The appeal was made during an address to the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps Members undergoing the Orientation Course in Rivers State.
Nafiu commended the Corps Members for responding to the call to serve their country and encouraged them to contribute positively to national development. NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Moses Oleghe reported that the 2,586 participants had demonstrated high levels of discipline and commitment.
The address highlights the NYSC’s ongoing efforts to instill a sense of national duty and good virtues among Nigerian youth as they prepare to contribute meaningfully to society.
