Supporters Storm Ladoja’s Residence as Ex-Governor Emerges Next in Line for Olubadan Throne Following Oba Olakulehin’s Death

Following the sudden death of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, families and suporters of former oyo state governor Rashidi Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan and next in line to the throne, on Monday took to the Bodija residence of Ladoja,
meanwhile, Ladoja was not in the state at the time, to receive the crowd in his home
Traditional drummers, praise singers, traders, and well-wishers gathered at the residence in celebration and anticipation of Ladoja’s ascension as the 44th Olubadan.
Ladoja, now awaits formal nomination by the Olubadan-in-Council, and as the successor next in line, his name will be transmitted to the Oyo State Government for approval and the presentation of the staff of office
IN THE MEANTIME, Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, in his address when he received the delegation of the Olubadan of Ibadaland in his office , said the state would stand by the family, and give the late Olubadan a befitting burial.
