Tinubu Departs Saint Lucia for Brazil to Attend 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro

President Bola Tinubu has departed Saint Lucia for Brazil for the second leg of his two-nation tour . President Tinubu is one of the four African leaders attending the 17th BRICS summit In Rio de Janeiro, from July 6-7
He departed the Caribbean country after a six-day state visit.
The visit saw Nigeria and Saint Lucia formalize diplomatic relations and the signing of a Technical Manpower Assistance agreement for the deployment of skilled Nigerian professionals to the Caribbean state.
Leaders from Egypt, Ethiopia and South Africa are also expected at the summit.
