US MILITARY OFFICIALS IN UKRAINE AMID REPORTS OF DRAFT RUSSIA PEACE PLAN

US Senior Officials at Pentagon have arrived in Kyiv for high-level talks aimed at exploring ways to end the war between Ukraine and Russia.
The delegation, led by United State Army Secretary, Dan Driscoll, is expected to meet President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday in a fact-finding mission. Their visit comes amid reports of a draft US-Russia peace framework requiring major concessions from Ukraine, which includes giving up territory and sharply reducing its military, claims neither Washington nor Moscow has confirmed.
The reports emerged on the same day a Russian missile and drone strike killed at least 26 people in the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil. Ukrainian officials said the talks with the US team will focus on battlefield conditions and possible steps toward a ceasefire.
European leaders have warned that no peace plan can succeed without Ukrainian consent, while Zelensky has repeatedly rejected any territorial concessions.
