POLICE ARREST SUSPECTED MURDERER AFTER THREE-MONTH MANHUNT

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested Abdulrazak Sale Kundang, the principal suspect in the alleged murder of 46-year-old Rilwanu Dauda in Karofin Madaki, Bauchi State.

The suspect was arrested on Monday, October 5, following a three-month manhunt. Police said Dauda was allegedly attacked and stabbed with a knife by Sale and members of his gang on July 5, and was later pronounced dead at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital.

The arrest followed information provided by a Good Samaritan, which helped the police locate the suspect. The Police Commissioner, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, commended the officers involved and said investigations were ongoing, with efforts being intensified to apprehend other suspects still at large.
