Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has urged young winger Yan Diomande to improve his finishing if he is to fulfil his potential at the club.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Mourinho made the remarks after Real Madrid’s victory over Sevilla on Sunday. He praised the 19-year-old Ivory Coast international’s overall performance but identified his finishing as an area requiring improvement.
Diomande, who reportedly joined Real Madrid from RB Leipzig in a high-profile summer transfer, has impressed with his movement and ability to create attacking opportunities. However, Mourinho believes the youngster must show greater composure and make better decisions in the final third to reach the next level.
