Governor Ademola Adeleke has presented the 2026 budget of economic transformation to the state’s House of Assembly totalling Seven Hundred and Five Billion (₦705 Billion) with Fifty Five percent earmarked for capital expenditure and Forty Five Percent (45%) for recurrent expenditure.
The Governor accompanied by top administration officials said his government has attained a remarkable milestone in implementing the 2025 Budget, noting that the 2026 budget builds on the achievements of the last three years since he assumed office.

Governor Adeleke noted that the 2026 Budget Proposal is prepared on the projection of the 2026 – 2028 Medium – Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) as required by the Osun State Fiscal Responsibility Law 2012”,
The governor recalled that the State Infrastructure development which has been on the decline before the inception of his Administration has changed for the better since he came on board, reaffirming his commitment to development in every nook and cranny of the State.
