The Osun Central Senatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Nathaniel Oduyemi, has urged residents of Osun State to carefully assess political parties ahead of the 2027 general elections, following Governor Ademola Adeleke’s decision to lead President Bola Tinubu’s campaign council in the state.
Oduyemi said the development raises questions about political representation and accountability. He called on voters to examine the records, policies and programmes of political parties, particularly on economic hardship, unemployment, insecurity and the rising cost of living.
The NDC candidate stressed that Nigerians need practical policies to address poverty, improve business activities and reduce the financial burden on households. He urged Osun residents to make informed political choices based on policies and their potential impact on the welfare of the people.
