OSUN STATE GOVERNMENT MOVES TO ENFORCE 2026 TRANSPORT LAW, TARGETS ILLEGAL REVENUE COLLECTION

The Osun State Government has engaged security agencies and other stakeholders to enforce the Integrated Transport, Traffic and Park Management Law, 2026, aimed at curbing illegal revenue collection and motor park thuggery.

At an interactive session in Osogbo, Chairman of the House Committee on Public Works and Transport, Abiola Inaolaji, said the law was designed to protect residents and transport infrastructure.

Inaolaji warned enforcement officers against harassing motorists, unauthorised revenue collection and abuse of power, stressing that strict compliance with the law was essential to its success.
