PRESIDENT TINUBU WARNS PUBLIC OFFICIALS AGAINST NEPOTISM

President Bola Tinubu has warned public officeholders to shun nepotism, and political patronage saying they are root causes of corruption that undermine public trust and weaken institutions.
The President through the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service at the State House Banquet Hall, organized by The Best Strategic Media in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in Abuja, said such vices distract officials from their core mandates and hinder national development.
He urged leaders at all levels to embrace integrity, accountability, and patriotism, stressing that public service is a sacred trust that must be discharged with responsibility and efficiency.
