SAUDI ARABIA, TURKEY AND PAKISTAN TO HOLD SECURITY TALKS IN IRAN

Iran is holding high-level security talks with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey in Tehran amid rising tensions in the Middle East and fears of renewed fighting involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

The meeting brings together Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, Pakistan’s army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Turkey’s intelligence chief, Ibrahim Kalin, alongside senior Iranian security officials.

According to reports, the discussions are focused on regional security, efforts to reduce tensions and diplomatic initiatives aimed at preventing further escalation of the conflict. The ongoing war in Yemen and attacks by Iran-aligned Houthi rebels against Saudi Arabia are also key issues on the agenda.
