Super Falcons interim head coach, Augustine Eguavoen, has unveiled 28 players invited for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic qualifying fixtures against Comoros. The official announcement was made today via the team’s X account.
The squad features captain Rasheedat Ajibade, forward Asisat Oshoala, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie and young forward Janet Akekoromowei, who has drawn attention for her recent performances and move to Benfica.
The players have been instructed to report to Ijebu-Ode, on Saturday, October 3.
Both matches will be played at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne-Remo, since Comoros does not have a CAF-approved venue for international games. The first leg is slated for Friday, October 9, while the return leg is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13.
