OGUN POLICE ARREST THREE STUDENTS OVER SUSPECTED CULT INITIATION

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested three secondary school students aged 12, 18 and 18 over a suspected cult initiation in Owode-Yewa.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the arrests followed intelligence about a planned cult-related activity tagged “Kito Day,” involving students from different secondary schools. He said detectives, working with the Vigilante Group of Nigeria, foiled the planned activity on October 22 and recovered items suspected to be linked to the operation.
