Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke, has signed the state park management bill into law, in a move aimed at reforming the state’s transport sector.
The bill, passed by the Osun State House of Assembly on September 22, provides for the regulation and digital administration of commercial transportation, traffic, motor parks, terminals, loading points and other transport infrastructure.
A statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, says Adeleke signed the bill at the Government House in Osogbo.
The governor commended the Assembly for its proactiveness, describing the new law as a major step towards modernising Osun’s transport system and improving the experience of commuters and operators.
