PDP, ACCORD ASPIRANTS DEFECT TO APC IN OYO STATE

The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Ibadan North-East State Constituency Two in the 2027 elections, Hammed Taoreed Ademola, and an Accord aspirant, Adedapo Ojo, have defected to the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State.

The duo led hundreds of their supporters to formally join the APC at an event along Old Ife Road, Ibadan.

Ademola said his decision followed his assessment of the political situation ahead of the 2027 elections, while Ojo described Accord as a distraction and urged voters to support the APC.

Receiving the defectors, APC State Chairman, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, assured them of equal opportunities and urged them to work for the party’s success in the 2027 elections.

The APC governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, also pledged fairness to all party members and zones across the state.
