A political ally of former Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has warned that Governor Ademola Adeleke-led campaign council for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid may struggle to achieve its objectives without the involvement of Oyetola’s political camp.
The warning comes amid growing disagreements within the Osun State chapter of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) over the composition and inauguration of the presidential campaign council.
The APC chieftain loyal to Oyetola argued that the campaign council would not effectively mobilise support for Tinubu without genuine reconciliation and the involvement of Oyetola’s political structure.
Meanwhile, Governor Adeleke has renewed his appeal to Oyetola and his associates to join the council, insisting that the campaign is focused on securing support for the president rather than advancing individual or party interests.
